Spay Me!  

Spay Me! clinic is a low cost spay/neuter clinic open to anyone.  There are no income guidelines and no residency requirements.    It is operated by Shelter From The Storm, an all breed 501 (c)(3) non-profit rescue based out of Madison, Wisconsin.  

We firmly believe that spaying and neutering pets is the best way to combat the pet overpopulation problem.  Our purpose is to make the procedure affordable to everyone.

We have licensed veterinarians and certified veterinary technicians (CVTs) on staff and they specialize in high volume procedures.  Other veterinarians and CVTs come in from time to time and volunteer their time.   Our clinic utilitizes skilled volunteers to assist with check in, recovery, and discharge, and we are always seeking additional volunteers.

Shelter From the Storm’s Spay Me! Clinic is looking for a Certified Vet Tech to join our team. Spay Me! is a high quality, high volume, low cost spay/neuter clinic. The right person for the job must be able to work in a fast paced environment while paying close attention to details. To be considered, you must be able to think on your feet, have exceptional communication skills with clients and co-workers, be able to function effectively as a team, and have good computer skills. If multi-tasking is your forte,  please fill out an application.

The job is paid per diem starting at $100. The hours most weeks will be Monday thru Thursday, noon to 7/8 pm, every other Friday 8 am to 5/6 pm and an occasional Saturday 7 am to 5 pm.

Services

Dog spay/neuter: $75.00 (Includes rabies and distemper vaccinations.)

Companion cat spay/neuter:  $40.00 (Includes rabies and distemper vaccinations.)

Outdoor/Feral Cat spay/neuter $35.00 (Must ear tip.  Includes rabies and distemper vaccinations and Revolution application.)

Teeth cleaning and dental procedures - reserved for low income individuals. Call for information and pricing.

Microchipping:  $20.00 (24 PetWatch chip) 

Heartworm testing:  $20.00

FeLV testing:  $15.00

FeLV/FIV testing: $20.00

Bordetella vaccination (dogs only): $10.00
