Position: Lead Certified Veterinary Technician 

Description: Spay Me! is a non-profit, high pace, full service veterinary clinic. We perform high volume spay/neuter as well as other surgical procedures including orthopedics and dentals. Our wellness clinic sees all kinds of routine and preventative cases as well as providing care for hospitalized patients all at low cost! We have multiple surgery days and a full service primary care team! We enjoy helping animals and their humans! The Spay Me! Clinic is equipped with digital x-ray, high speed dental machine, digital dental x-ray, in house lab equipment, and multi-parameter anesthesia monitors.



  • At least 2- 3 years of veterinary technician experience

  • Animal handling experience

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment while paying close attention to details and maintaining good customer service

  • Must be able to think on your feet, have exceptional communication skills with clients and co-workers, be able to function effectively as a team, and have good computer skills.

  • Ability to Multitask

  • Certification


  • Assisting leading a primary care team throughout the day for daily appointments, urgent hospitalized patients, and continued care for postsurgical in-clinic animals. If you are looking for a position to be able to use all of the skills you have learned in school this is the job for you. This is a very hands-on position.

We need 1-2 people to help out in the clinic every day. You are guaranteed to learn a lot and it is a rewarding experience.  If you are interested in helping out, please submit a volunteer application.

Job duties can include: Kennel cleaning, walking dogs, assisting in recovery, answering phones, filing, general cleaning.
